Who is Starfibre
Starfibre Communications is a small company recently established in 2024 September 04 , the company was registered in Johannesburg, Gauteng region. The company has two directors , Namely: Gugu Lucyl Khumalo who is the director and CEO of the company, and Linda Khumalo who is a co-director and himself earned the status of being the Company's COO by virtue of his enormous contribution to the birth of STARFIBRE COMMUNICATIONS (PTY) LTD
It started with an idea which came from the brains of the CEO Mrs Gugu Khumalo , that perhaps if there can be a change to the then business model of build and transfer to the current business model , build and own , maybe things would be looked at differently, she shared the Idea with her life partner Mr Linda Khumalo , who embraced the idea and started with all the necessary paper work in establishing the company , then STARFIBRE COMMUNICATIONS (Pty) Ltd was born.
The CEO initially started her own company named SILUTHULI CONSTRUCTION AND PROJECTS (Pty) Ltd which was established in 2021 March 26, which she is a sole director and CEO , when Gugu registered Siluthuli she had one thing in mind that the company will strictly perform civil works such laying of culverts, storm water pipes, kerbing , paving etc. until that changed when she was introduced to telecommunications by one of her peers and since then she fell in love with the telecommunications industry and never looked back, Siluthuli started to perform turn key build and transfer of the fibre optic cable infrastructure to different FNO’s , hence even today SILUTHULI CONSTRUCTION is the builder of Fibre Optic Cable Network Infrastructure only this time the company is no longer doing a build and transfer model but its building the infrastructure and keeping the sites, incorporating STARFIBRE COMMUNICATIONS as its reseller company and ISP of the very same Fibre internet infrastructure. The CEO saw it fit to build and own her NETWORK because of the love she has for her own people in the neighborhood
